Sketchabilities #106 Reveal

Sketch #106 has been revealed at Sketchabilities!!

This was an easy sketch for me, the layout came together very quickly!

I used what I had left of my December Album kit from My Creative Scrapbook.  For the background I stamped with a music sheet stamp, used a stencil to add the circles and finally I added some splatters with a brown mist.  All of the papers were distressed and inked.

More My Creative Scrapbook Reveal!!!

This month I got to play with two My Creative Scrapbook Kits!!!

Scroll down for my projects with the Creative Kit!

I also got to work with the Fabulous Album Kit!!!

I love that this kit has more of a traditional Christmas feel to it!

The kit comes with a 6x6 chipboard album, with it I made this!

There are so many embellishments in this kit, I add so much fun adding layers!!

Here is a layout!
I inked and distressed a lot on this layout!  I combined the cardstock stickers and chipboard pieces to make my clusters!
My last project, I altered a muffin tin!  I had so much fun with this project!
The kit came with a sheet of music, so I punched flowers out and painted them with Smooches Glimmer Glam!

Head on over to My Creative Scrapbook to get your kit!

My Creative Scrapbook Reveal!!!

It is time for the December Reveal at My Creative Scrapbook!!!
I am so excited to share these kits, they are all so incredible!!

This month I worked with two kits :)  The Creative Kit and the Album Kit!!

I am going to share the Creative Kit today....this kit is so stinkin cute!!  It was so much fun to play with!!  You are going to want this one!

This is the Crate paper Bundled Up collection and it is absolutely adorable!!!
Even though there is a lot of pink in this paper, I add no problems using my boy photos with it!
My first page is a Christmas page, look at all the yummy chipboard!
Here is a snow page, my little boy picked up some snow and said "look it is the worlds smallest snowball"... it was too cute!  I colored the Thickers with glimmer mist on this page to make them pop a little more!  I also took the white ball trim and rolled it up to make it look like little snowballs :)
Ok, not a boy page...but I could not resist using this cute photo of my niece!  I distressed all the edges of the paper and than added stickles, it really made the page sparkle!!
Another snow page with my adorable little boy :)  I used a lot of the die cuts on this layout, they are perfect for layering!
My last layout has a photo from my boys first  Christmas :)  I used gold ink and a stencil on the background, mixed in some die cuts and chipboard and I love how it turned out!

Don't forget to check out design team gallery to see what the other talented girls did with the kits!

What A Star!

Here is another layout I made with the Basicgrey Hipster Collection :)

This a picture I took at my little boys dance production last year, he is sitting on the side of the building and I thought it was cool how the name of the place is behind him!
Besides the Hipster paper, I also added some Kaisercraft and MME embellies!

AWESOME!!

Yes, I do use that word a lot to describe my kid!

I even buy him shirts that say it :)

So when I saw this photo, I knew I was going to focus on his shirt on the layout!

Everything on this page came together so easily!  I was excited to get to use some of my Halloween paper (since I always buy way more than I can use)!  The alpha stickers were a perfect match to the lettering on his shirt.  I used some very old transparencies, a doily and cut the gears with my silhouette!  I really love this page!

Rock N Roll!

I have been patiently waiting for the perfect photo to use with the Basicgrey Hipster Collection...since I love it so much!

When I found this picture of my little guy (ok, I know he doesnt look all that little but he is only six) on his first day of guitar lesson I knew it was what I was waiting for!

I did some fun with stencils on the background, and that I went crazy layering!  This collection has such awesome embellishments in it, I just wanted to add them all to my page!
I absolutely adore how it turned out!

Epic

While I was taking this photo of my little boy, I knew what paper I would be using to scrap them!

The bring colors and fun designs of this Glitz Design line was a perfect  match!
I misted the background paper to match the graffiti in the photo.  The paper and die were all distressed and inked.  I didn't add a lot of embellishments to this layout, I thought the combo of all the pattern papers and die cuts were busy enough :)

A Super Cool Kid

Here is another layout I made with the fabulous Elle's Studio products!!

I love how easy it is to add layers with these products!!  I also love how well they all work with my little boy!

Here are some close ups...

I layered the title on some of the cut outs and a piece of chipboard, embellished it with washi tape and stars!

Here you can see some layers and how perfectly they all come together!

It's that time!!!  The reveal at My Creative Scrapbook  for November!!!  I have to say that I am so glad that my kit is picked for me each month, if I had to choose between these kits I would have a hard time!!

This month I played with the Album Kit!

I was able to make two minis!

The first mini album I used 4 of the chipboard pieces form the mini album that comes in the kit...

The second mini I used the other two pieces of chipboard and a file folder!

I also had enough supplies left over to make a layout!!
